Steeley Anne

There’s nothing like a great breakup song.

In 2010, Anne Steele was covering Britney Spears’ “Toxic” on a fantastic album with classical instrumentation called Strings Attached.

But now she’s singing her own words, and in at least one song on her new What’s Mine EP, they’re pretty toxic, too.

usa-02_25_15(2)In an album filled with dance tracks and gay anthems, the big standout for us is “Worst I Ever Had,” which tells the asshole in question to “pack your bags and go” in a delightfully vicious rant. We can hear this booming from stereos all over the country as a collective chorus of explicit-lyrics empowerment.

The lesbian singer has already made a big name for herself in the cabarets of New York City and major markets all over the U.S., as well as a variety of LGBT cruises and resort vacations. But we suspect this album is just the push she needs to become a household name.

Anne Steele. Commit it to memory.
