We can finally put our Easy-Bake Oven out by the curb.
There’s a new bakery opening tomorrow that’s producing better treats than anything we could possibly bake by the heat of a lightbulb (though our dinner party guests are always amazed at our Easy-Bake soufflés).
We got a sneak peak at SusieCakes last week and we’re infatuated with the goodies at the first-ever store to open outside California.
When the doors swing open in the morning, you’ll be able to get not just cakes, but also cookies, muffins, coffee and a mound of whoopie pies for the taking.
Best of all, everything they sell is made from scratch on site and available every day so you don’t have to plan your visit around Made Only on Wednesday red velvet cupcakes or Apple Brown Betty Fridays at other bakeries around town.
And, should you have a big gay wedding in the works, they can whip up a wedding cake with as little as 72 hours notice. Because time is always a consideration when the sugar daddy of our dreams is pushing 90.
Let’s be honest, a June wedding just might not be an option.
