In its new Look Different Creator Competition, three winners were selected in a short film competition that explores different types of social advantage: white privilege, straight privilege and male privilege.
American Male explores the latter and it’s surprisingly powerful in its mere six-minute length. Issues of masculinity, sexual desire and homophobia are all explored in subtle and not-so-subtle ways.
Check it out for yourself. It’s not just hot, but thought-provoking.
