Throughout modern gay history, drag queens have always been there when we needed them most. Raising money. Raising awareness. Making us laugh ’til we pee-cry.
Well, this Sunday, you have the chance to return the favor to one local entertainer. Earlier this month, Chanel Champagne was in a terrible car accident with an 18-wheeler.
She underwent surgery and suffered several broken and fractured bones. Plus, as reported on DallasVoice.com, she even lost a finger.
As you can imagine, the medical bills have been staggering.
So more than two dozen drag queens are joining forces at the Round-Up this Sunday night to help raise some much-needed funds for her hospital and recovery expenses.
All tips will go toward her bills, so instead of the usual dollars, you might want to consider a stack of fives.
Or twenties.
And maybe a couple nekkid pics thrown in to really help cheer her up when she receives the stack of cash.
