Hot enough for ya?
If we hear that one more time, it’s going to drive us to drink.
So, please, call us right now and scream, “Hot enough for ya?”

When it comes to summer sipping, we always turn toward something packed with ice, such as a margarita.
Or a bottle of Tito’s.
As for wine, however, we gravitate toward something that tastes good super-chilled, typically a rosé that’s as pretty in pink as it is ready for poolside pounding.
And now, there are two new wines hailing from Provence, France, available in the Dallas/Fort Worth market. We were sent a bottle of each and devoured them last Sunday like a bunch of homos stuck in the desert like the living nightmare that was Sex and the City 2.
The first one we popped open was the Inspiration Rosé ($19.99) from Château de Berne. Made from mostly Grenache grapes, the wine holds up well to a variety of foods, making it easy to pair with just about anything.
Next on our tasting tour of France was UP Rosé ($22.99), a drier rosé that we really enjoyed with a hearty Greek salad. Then later with cinnamon rolls because we’re classy like that.
Of the two, the UP Rosé was our group’s favorite, but we think perhaps the beautiful, etched bottle (pictured) might have swayed the decision a tiny bit.
But we won’t know for sure until we test out another couple cases of each this weekend.
