Got 10 Minutes For A Movie?

We totally have a short attention sp…

Did you see that guy who just walked in? Damn, he’s hot.

What were we talking about?

Oh yeah, not being able to focus on m…

Ooh, that ass. It’s amazing! He sure can rock some gray sweat pants. Wonder if he’s on Grindr right now.

Crap, we did it again. But we’re focused at this very moment. Promise.

This Sunday, join a bunch of other people with short attention spans for the OK2BX Film Festival at The Texas Theatre. (For the record, OK2BX = OK to be Extraordinary!)

Presented by the Texas Film Commission, the OK2BX Film Fest highlights high school student-created films, each no more than 10 minutes long, with a focus on stories of diversity and inclusion.

This year, students submitted more than 100 submissions, representing 16 different states and three countries.

A total of 21 finalists will have their works shown in the festival. Awards will be given out for Best Film – Animation, Best Film – Inclusivity, Best Film – Kindness, Best Film – Smartphone, Best Film – LBGTQIA+ and Most Extraordinary Film – Best of Show, along with a $200 cash prize in each category.

Come out to support these young cinematic talents. Who knows, the next great writer, director or actor could be seated in the same auditorium with you.

Consider it a pre-brush with fame.
