Now that’s how you throw a party with a purpose.
Over the weekend, the annual Toast To Life fundraiser from Resource Center Dallas brought the fantasy realness with its “Enchanted Evening” theme—and the magic was flowing. With a record-breaking $545,000 raised, this year’s event was more than just a reason to dust off your gala glam. It was a true power move for our LGBTQIA+ and HIV communities here in North Texas.
Where That Money’s Going (Spoiler: Good Places)
Cece Cox, CEO and local queer superhero, took the stage in full fairy godmother glam (seriously, look at her!) to share the heart of the night—and the impact. Here’s how those funds will work their magic:
- More HIV testing and prevention access for folks who need it most
- Safe spaces for LGBTQIA+ youth to just be their beautiful, authentic selves
- Nutritious groceries and essential services for people living with HIV
In other words, real impact. Real fast.
Why It Matters
Toast To Life has always been a cornerstone event, but this year proved that the Dallas community shows up—heels high, wallets open and hearts even bigger. Whether you sipped a signature cocktail or snagged a silent auction steal, you were part of something that’s changing lives.
Didn’t get a chance to donate at the event? No worries. The giving spirit lives on—donate here and keep the enchantment going.
