The Rainbow Connection

Tiny Victories.

Not only is that the name of a bar in Oak Cliff we love, little wins are something we need in 2026. They really add up, you know.

Now that Oak Lawn United Methodist Church has won approval for its rainbow stairs, it’s perfect timing to celebrate community at a musical event inside that building.

Tomorrow afternoon, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., the New Texas Symphony Orchestra (NTSO) presents A Rainbow of Music.

This winter chamber concert brings the rainbow to life through six gorgeous musical works, each representing a different color. Twenty-one musicians have poured their hearts and souls into this free concert, so if you have free time on your calendar, now’s the time to add this event.

It’s over by 5:00, which means you can head out to an early dinner, happy hour or back home to rewatch Heated Rivalry.

All are acceptable options.
