Do something thirty times, however, and you’ve definitely created a can’t-miss tradition known the world over.
This year, Texas Bear Round-Up (TBRU) presents its 30th edition and it’s going to be one for the history books.
From March 12-15, join a sleuth of bears (did you know that’s what a group of bears is called?), a giant litter of cubs and a gaggle of admirers for four days of hairy happenings.
Drag entertainment includes Miss Coco Peru, Sister Helen Holy, Penny Cilyn, Lipps La Rue, Lady Christian, Shantae Morgan and Trisha Davis. There’s also the Mr. TBRU Contest (hot!) and the Gods and Gladiators BearDance (even hotter!).
Make sure your Scruff profile’s updated and get your tickets while you still have the chance. You still have a few days to register before the price goes up.
Excursions have already sold out, so you won’t be able to get into the ones at Club Dallas that weekend, but who knows what sloppy seconds you might encounter in the parking lot if you’re on the hunt for a little honey.
