Tonight, we can watch Ellen watch people screw. And chisel. And saw.
It’s all part of her new lesbian dream come true: hosting a reality competition about furniture building. Kind of the polar opposite of RuPaul’s Drag Race.
But because it’s Ellen’s Design Challenge, the show is wonderfully fun, as good-spirited as possible and surprisingly hilarious.
In the series, she pits six furniture designers against one another for 24-hour challenges to design and build chairs, tables, armoires and the like until a panel of judges determines which one is worthy of taking home the $100,000 cash prize.
Ellen, of course, is standing by with a U-Haul to take home all that furniture.
