As much as we love gas station tacos, sometimes we crave something a little more sophisticated.
Or in the case of The Mexican, the restaurant stunner that recently debuted in the Dallas Design District, a LOT more sophisticated.
Sure, we love the convenience of being able to buy our lottery tickets and cases of beer during dinner, but we also clean up really well and enjoy dressing up and hanging out with our friends over a leisurely meal.
We attended a pre-opening preview and worked our way through much of the menu (both food and cocktails) and we were nothing short of stunned. By flavor and presentation of the food and cocktails, but also by the gorgeous rooms within the restaurant—each emulating the vibe of a different region of Mexico.
This is the Mexican restaurant to take people to when you want to impress. But to best paint the picture of what you can expect when you make reservations for this white-hot new eatery, scroll through a few pictures.
Not only are these photos worth at least 1,000 words each, but you might also have to resist the urge to lick your device.
