Fine Art. Fine Wine. Extraordinary Humans.

We all have at least one bare wall in our homes that we don’t quite know what to do with.

Well, this week, the answer could be to hang a Picasso on it. Or a Warhol, Chagall or Dalí.

The Gay & Lesbian Fund for Dallas (GLFD) hosts an event this Thursday at Martin-Lawrence Galleries at Galleria Dallas. GLFD members nd non-members alike are invited to mingle while sipping on wine and politely stuffing appetizers in their faces when nobody’s looking.

It’s a rare chance to view (and purchase) original works from 20th century masters including Pablo Picasso, Marc Chagall, Andy Warhol, Erté, Takashi Murakami, Sam Francis and Salvador Dalí.

A knowledgeable guide will chat with small groups about each artist and the works being exhibited.

The GLFD board of directors will also have a surprise announcement that you’ll definitely want to hear.

So if you’re ready to add a masterpiece to your home art collection, now’s your chance. And if that’s beyond your means, don’t worry.

Maybe you can share the cost with 11 other friends and each get custody of the artwork for one month a year.

Sorry to whoever gets February.
