Adulting can be hard.
But it sure has its perks.
If we want to walk around the house naked drinking Tito’s from the bottle while listening to old Cher, Madonna and Cyndi Lauper hits on repeat (at full volume), that’s our right.
If we want to max out a credit card to jump on a flight to the Caribbean in a day’s notice, no problem.
And it most certainly affords us the luxury of eating whatever we want, whenever we want.
Such as dessert before dinner.
Which brings us to one of the top events of the month: Dessert B4 Dinner, the Black Tie Dinner kickoff party taking place at the Empire Room tomorrow night, Thursday, May 9 at 6:00 p.m.
Even though the 43nd Annual Black Tie Dinner won’t be here for six months, it’s never too early to get excited about THE LGBTQ fundraiser of the fall season.
Tickets are $50 and include complimentary cocktails and wine, light bites, and you’ll be among the first to learn of this year’s theme. Hosted by Marsha Dimes (pictured), the event’s going to be equal parts salty and sweet.
So get your tickets and get dressed up (ish)—black tie not required for this event, of course—and see you on Thursday.
