Humor Us For A Moment

There was a phase where our love for Paula Poundstone faded a bit.

But only for the briefest bit. We happened to catch a show that wasn’t her best and we thought she’d never return to form.

When we gave her another chance—not to mention catching her frequent appearances on the NPR quiz show, Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me!—we realized it was simply a bad night for her. And trust, we know what that’s like.

Last year, we even had the chance to chat with her for almost an hour, and she was perfectly lovely. Not to mention gut-bustingly hilarious.

So, when we heard on the radio that she was coming back to town, we scurried to our computer to look for tickets. Fewer than 100 remain, but you can still snag some great seats for her show in Richardson at the Eisemann Center this Saturday night.

Tickets run $25-$65 and the show begins at 8:00 p.m.

It’ll be a perfect way to celebrate Pride Month Eve, too.

Because laughter’s something we really, really—like REALLY, REALLY—need right now.
