Reading about history: Boring.
Listening to people who’ve lived it: Exhilarating.
That’s a key differentiator at The Dallas Way, a nonprofit organization dedicated to gathering, organizing, storing and presenting the complete LGBTQ history of Dallas, Texas.
And one of its key programs, Outrageous Oral, gives you a front-row seat to history in the making.
Outrageous Oral: Volume 36 takes place this Thursday night at 6:30 p.m. at the Rose Room at S4. Scheduled to speak are three emerging queer leaders in North Texas.
Haley Ablon, Javier Enriquez and Christopher Walker will each speak about their particular role in the community and you’ll be able to interact and ask questions to learn more.
Outrageous Oral always brings a fun, informative program to the Rose Room stage.
Which is kind of a good thing to counterbalance the nonsense Cassie Nova brings there most other nights.
