Meet Amber, a four-year-old, 55-pound beauty with a shiny black and tan coat, floppy ears that bounce when she walks, and a smile that lands immediately. She has personality for days and knows exactly how to use it.
Amber loves a good walk. Not a quick loop around the block. A real walk. The kind where every tree deserves attention and every new scent is worth investigating. She approaches the outdoors with enthusiasm and curiosity, turning even a simple outing into something a little more fun.
Hiking, exploring, wandering without a strict plan, Amber is always ready. She brings that kind of energy that makes you want to get up and go, even if you were originally planning to stay in.
But here is where Amber really wins people over. When the walk is done and the day slows down, she shifts completely. The same dog who was ready for adventure is now ready for the couch. She settles in, gets comfortable, and makes it very clear she would like to be close to you.
Amber strikes that balance people are always looking for. Active when you want to be out. Calm when you are ready to relax. She fits into both sides of life without missing a beat.
She is looking for someone who wants that mix. Someone who enjoys getting outside, but also appreciates a quiet evening in. Someone who wants a dog who shows up fully for both.
Amber is ready to do exactly that.
You can meet her any day from noon to 6 p.m. at the SPCA of Texas Dallas Animal Care Center, 2400 Lone Star Drive, 75212. She has been spayed, microchipped, and is up to date on her vaccinations.
