Sorry, Timothée Chalamet, Opera’s Back!

You probably remember the kerfuffle back in March when actor Timothée Chalamet trash-talked opera and ballet as dying art forms.

Well, he clearly hadn’t heard gay pop-opera artist Jamie Hannah who’s taken the internet by storm with his spectacular falsetto renditions of “Like A Prayer,” “I Will Always Love You” and “Can You Feel the Love Tonight.

Today, he releases his first single, “Oblivion” from a forthcoming EP and we couldn’t wait to share it with you.

Co-written with Christopher Braide (SIA, Lana Del Rey) and Lindy Robbins (Demi Lovato, Matteo Bocelli), the track goes into deep, intimate emotions and a message of self-forgiveness.

The hauntingly beautiful song gives us a glimpse of the fantastic things that he has in store for the EP.

Hannah boasts a five-octave range, so expect big things.

And the potential de-throning of Mariah Carey.
