Where To Eat This Weekend: Saturday Brunch At Mirador

You had us at caviar donuts.

And then you went and blew our minds with everything else.

A recent brunch at Mirador left us completely enamored with the time-honored ritual of gathering over champagne and beautiful food on late weekend mornings.

Located in the Forty Five Ten penthouse in the heart of downtown Dallas, Mirador already has cachet thanks to its location. But the delightful food, lovely cocktails and genial service make this one of our favorite brunch spots we’ve visited in years.

How the heck have we made it this long without making it into Mirador for brunch!? Better late than never has never been a more appropriate cliché to bandy about.

It’s too hot right now to enjoy the patio from its fourth floor perch, but even if you’re simply seated by a window, the cityscape offers a dramatic backdrop to a fancy but approachable meal.

The crispy chicken bites are a must-order. You can even add caviar! The generous portion of delicious nuggets could be a full meal with a salad or small side.

If you’re feeling more brunchy than lunchy, try the breakfast sandwich or Mirador’s unique twist on steak and eggs, made with Wagyu beef short ribs, steamed rice, poached egg, and nori. You can even add caviar!

On the lunch side of things, the market fish is sublime. Hell, I’m sure they’d throw on some caviar to that, too, if you asked!

Next time you’re looking for a sophisticated brunch experience that’s in line price-wise with nearly every other spot in Dallas, book a table at Mirador ASAP.

Brunch service only runs on Saturdays, which leaves you no choice but do a highly coveted back-to-back brunches some weekend soon.

Maybe get some caviar to-go while you’re at Mirador so you can add it to your Eggs Benedict wherever you end up on Sunday.
