The 2008 Muddy Buddy Ride & Run series is making it's way across America.
Anyone can sign up. Grab your closest mate, your special friend, family members, or some stranger of the street. But warn them that this race is not for the light of heart or the sensitive of skin.
The concept is easy.
Team of pairs race on somewhat soggy off-road land for six or seven miles. One person bikes while the other runs. You both tackle obstacles along the course.
Then you switch, back and forth, until you reach the race’s namesake: the mud pit. After a mad dash through the filth, you reach the finish. Make some noise!
Bring out your little keebler elves, too. The Mini Muddy Buddy is for the kiddos only, and they can get just as mudded up as their mommies, daddies, uncles and aunties.
Even better, participants are entered to win a whole brown bag of prizes like a trip to Finland or a Land Rover LR3. And no race is complete without a complimentary t-shirt and goodie bag to celebrate the day.
