If ever there was a combination sure to make us swoon it’s the perfect storm forming at the Dallas Museum of Art tomorrow night. That’s where super-cute Broadway-dancer-turned-author Tim Federle brings his love of puns and cocktails together for a night of intoxicating word play.
Or in our case, word foreplay.
While not busy reciprocating loving glances with us, Tim will chat about his books, Tequila Mockingbird: Cocktails with a Literary Twist and his newest, Hickory Daiquiri Dock, filled with nursery-rhyme-inspired adult beverages.
The DMA sponsored a cocktail contest in honor of the evening and the best drinks will be available for purchase at the Late Night Creative Cocktail Lounge from 6:00 to 11:00 p.m. Test out the winning Twisted Serpent or a finalist such as the Sidecar Name Desire and you’ll be ready for action.
It’s all a part of the DMA’s birthday celebration and the kick-off of a new season of Arts & Letters Live.
We’ll drink to that!
