Comedy 911

usa-01_27_15

Whenever we hear the audio from 911 calls on the news, we get a little tense. Especially when there’s an inept operator on the other line that makes the situation for the caller even worse.

Well, even the worst call taker we’ve ever heard is a genius compared to the band of misfit idiots working the switchboards in Hell, Michigan in the comedy web series, What’s Your Emergency.

Check out the What’s Your Emergency series trailer here.

Directed by the adorable Michael Urie (from TV’s Ugly Betty and the one-man stage show, Buyer & Cellar), each episode is less than 10 minutes long, ideal for a bit of healthy laughter while the other people in your office are on their smoke breaks.

Filled with cameos from high-wattage stars like America Ferrera and Alan Cumming (above with an unnamed blow-up doll that we’ll just call Ann Coulter for the sake of imagination), the series is wonderfully zany and only improves with each subsequent episode.

Let’s just hope we don’t ever have a heart attack or get something stuck in a precarious place next time we’re in Hell, Michigan.

Because something tells us this show is practically reality.
