Adios, Mean Girls

Bullies haven’t gone anywhere.

But they’re not as prolific as they used to, thanks to several recent efforts to bring attention to ending their cruel and evil ways.

The latest to fly in and save the day is caped crooner Sir Ivan, the pop singer best known for dance remakes of ‘60s and ‘70s hits like “Imagine,” ”San Francisco,” and “Live For Today.”

His latest single, “Kiss All the Bullies Goodbye” supports the anti-bullying campaign through The Peaceman Foundation. The track is produced by superstar DJ/producer Paul Oakenfold and features vocals from the one-and-only Taylor Dayne.

When Sir Ivan appears in the video (above) showing off his anti-bully superpowers, it really makes us chuckle. Not sure if that’s intentional, but that aside it’s a wonderfully catchy song and we wholeheartedly support the message.

usa-03_16_15(2)In conjunction with the track’s release, Sir Ivan and The Peaceman Foundation have donated a total of $100,000 to ten key non-profit organizations that combat bullying and intolerance, among them The It Gets Better Project, the Born This Way Foundation and Parents & Friends of Lesbians & Gays (PFLAG).

You can do your part by downloading one (or all) of the dance remixes of “Kiss All the Bullies Goodbye.”

99¢ is all it takes for you to be an anti-bully hero, too.

You don’t even need a cape—but why not?
