Our favorite singing competition that doesn’t feature JLo or Adam Levine kicks off tonight. (Though we really wish Adam would make a guest appearance.)
The 2015 Coors Light Voice of Pride Competition returns with 17 preliminary competitions and four elimination rounds leading up to a semi-final elimination. The drama culminates with a Top Ten performance Sunday, August 9 in the Rose Room.
It’s a fantastic opportunity for LGBT singers to enjoy the spotlight, build a fan base and win some fabulous prizes. And for those of us who love watching talented people fight for the win, it’s a terrific way to spend the summer.
Every bar in the Dallas Tavern Guild hosts at least one night of performances, so you can hop around the city and experience new venues and old favorites.
Just remember to put your drink down before you applaud.
It’s bad manners to draw attention away from the performers.
