There are so many repetitive two-word phrases that make us smile.
Another is Duran Duran.
It’s been four years since their last album, but since their glory days in the ‘80s, they haven’t made much of a splash with their new albums.
But we’re glad they’re back with Paper Gods in what’s already being called their best work since Rio and we agree. It takes a few listens to get some of the songs stuck in your head, but that’s not the case with “Pressure Off” featuring Janelle Monáe and Nile Rodgers.
The song features their signature upbeat pop sound, but much of the rest of the album includes a bit of experimentation.
And we’re all for that.
