Everyone knows that digital downloads have forever changed the music industry.
That’s why it seems we’re being treated to more and more super-deluxe box sets from singers and bands that provide a depth and quality of content that can’t simply be found with a mouse click.
Earlier this week, we were all about aha and here we are a mere days later with an insane box set from the pansexual music god, David Bowie.
David Bowie Five Years 1969-1973 is the first of a series of boxed sets and comes in a 10-album/12-CD box or a 10-album/13-LP vinyl set to truly hear his songs as they were originally played by fans back in the day.
Everything is remastered and there are several content exclusives, such as a 2003 stereo remix of The Rise and Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars by the album’s original co-producer Ken Scott, previously only available on DVD.
There’s a gorgeous book with rare photos and technical notes about every song.
This set is essential for any true Bowie fans, but also a fantastic way to introduce new generations to the greatness of this rock legend.
Because who doesn’t love a hot man who wears fur coats and makeup?
