Time to put your feet to the street, rock your favorite jock and get your buns in the sun.
It’s time for our favorite charity fitness activity of the year: LifeWalk! This year, the AIDS Arms fundraiser celebrates 25 years of gathering thousands of people together to put one foot in front of the other for a great cause.
The weather is always superb and this year should be the just as glorious. But even when it’s a bit on the steamy side, the 5K (3.2 mile) walk through Turtle Creek has long stretches of shade. Besides, when you’re chatting with friends (or making new ones), the time passes oh-so-quickly.
Last year alone, this single event raised $592,628, so for the silver anniversary we hope that number skyrockets exponentially.
It’s not too late to donate, join a team, or gather your own group to pound the pavement this Sunday afternoon. As long as you make a contribution, you’ll be golden.
Our only request is that for the love of all that’s good and holy, please leave the compression shorts at home.
Because male camel toe deserves its own fundraiser.
