If you asked us when we started writing about the Dallas scene for this publication back in 2007 what would most surprise us eight years in the future, we would never, ever have guessed: We’re addicted to dancer performances.

Yep, thanks to TITAS Presents… and the AT&T Performing Arts Center, we’ve become dance junkies.

Our latest fix comes in the form of Abraham.In.Motion, a group of dynamic dancers described as “urban funk meets modern dance.”

And who can ever get enough urban funk?

Choreographed by MacArthur “Genius” award recipient Kyle Abraham, this world-premiere production at Dallas City Performance Hall promises elegance and sophistication that’s evocative of Abraham’s spectacular choreographic brilliance.

The music is live and the dancers are mesmerizing.

Especially all those muscular men in tight pants.
