When we were younger, there were lots of things we could do for seven hours in a row.

Now, we’re lucky if we can stay awake long enough for two back-to-back episodes of Transparent without having to get up to pee. Twice.

But if you’re the more active type, you won’t have any problem whipping and doing the Nae Nae for a 420-minute stretch when Purple Foundation’s quarterly SPIN dance party returns for the winter edition this Friday at S4.Headlining the event is international DJ and producer Morabito (pictured above) who takes over after an opening set by DJ Prince P from Dallas. The whole shebang is hosted by RuPaul’s Drag Race favorite, Mimi Imfurst (pictured at top).

As always, proceeds from this Purple Foundation production benefit local HIV/AIDS organizations, including Resource Center, AIDS Services of Dallas and Legacy Counseling Center.

Half-price tickets are available if purchased in advance. Plus, you can add on a meet-and-greet with Mimi for just $5 more.

It’s a great way to kick off the weekend.

Just set aside most of Saturday for sleep. Or a visit to the chiropractor if that bitch Nae Nae wrecks your back.
