Now more than ever it’s a time to recognize those who are making contributions to continue the visibility and acceptance of the LGBT community.
Saturday night, Logo airs its annual Trailblazer Honors, the largest televised LGBT event during Pride Month. The one-hour special honors celebs, politicians, activists and pioneers who are helping to make the world an even better place for LGBT people—and everyone, really.
The talented and funny Harvey Fierstein (pictured above) is among those being honored this year, which means he’ll join past honorees including the Obama Administration and Laverne Cox from Netflix’s Orange Is The New Black.
It’s an entertaining and uplifting celebration that’ll make you proud to be gay. Or L, B, T, Q or whichever letter you embrace.
And unlike other awards ceremonies, the 60-minute time frame is oh-so-refreshing.
