If you see only one Polish mermaid musical this year, it should be The Lure.
This bizarre film filled with elaborately choreographed dance numbers and a pair of sisters singing siren songs couldn’t be more appropriate for the bizarro world we live in today. In fact, it’s so truly crazy, Kellyanne Conway thinks it’s a documentary.
Unlike Bowling Green, however, there are actual murders taking place here because these feisty fishes are man-hungry. Literally.
So watch the trailer and decide for yourself. No amount of written words can adequately describe the experience.
And that’s a really, really good thing.
