If you’re like us, your phone gets a lot of use taking photos of beautiful food.
Well, this morning, plan to use your phone to dial up a restaurant for reservations to this year’s DFW Restaurant Week.
No longer a measly seven-day week, the event lasts from August 10 all the way through September 3 (restaurant participation may vary). That means so many opportunities to try out all the great fine dining places you might not usually be able to afford.
That’s because, as always, Restaurant Week establishments serve up multi-course meals at a fraction of the usual cost. Three courses will run $39 or $49 and two-course lunches clock in at a mere $20.
Plus, FedEx Office is the new DFW Restaurant Week Fourth Course sponsor (which is an odd fit to us, but OK). Spend $10 at any of their DFW locations and receive a free additional fourth course at participating restaurants.
New this year, casual dining eateries join in on the fun with the Specialty Bites program, in which a specific Restaurant Week item will be available at a large list of non-fine-dining establishments.
A portion of proceeds from all Restaurant Week purchases benefit North Texas Food Bank or Lena Pope.
Get on the phone now for the best selection of reservations days and times.
Then get your metabolism ready for a few weeks of gluttony.
