Brunch Of The Week: Frosé For Days (Two To Be Exact)

It says a lot about a restaurant if we go there even when we’re not there to review it for a story.

We know we’ve written that sentiment here before, but it’s worth repeating.

And it’s the reason while you’ll find us dining and drinking at Pie Tap Pizza Workshop + Bar often, even on our weekends free from Brunch of the Week duties. Fair prices, fabulous food and a fun atmosphere all work together to lure us to the table ready to share food and adult beverages with our dearest (and cattiest) friends.

Grab a seat on the patio and kick things off with a $2 frosé, $3 mimosa or $5 Bloody Mary. The Bloody Marys come loaded with garnishes, so they’re the perfect thing to order if you can’t wait until the main course to start snacking.

It’s the frosé that gives us the most bang for our buck, however, mostly because they start off with Hendrick’s gin, Aperol and fresh strawberries to blend with everybody’s favorite pink wine. We’d pay a lot more for the quality spirits in this frozen drink, but we’re so happy we don’t have to.

With a couple appetizers and a brunch pizza, you’ll have enough food to share with a table of four, but because this is brunch, we encourage additional indulgence. Perhaps with the menu’s recently added fried chicken and biscuits (pictured above). Hangovers, beware: This platter slays anything that might be ailing you.

And if not, then a cinnamon roll for dessert will surely do the trick.

Not to mention another $2 hair-of-the-dog frosé.
