Hip Locks & Tongue Pops

Forget the Zombie Apocalypse.

Dancing Queenmageddon is upon us. Yesterday, Cher’s new album, Dancing Queen, debuted.

One week later, Alyssa Edwards’ new Netflix show of the same name premieres.

Order up some Dairy Queen while listening to Cher’s ABBA covers before you watch the first episode of the reality series and you’ve got yourself one DQ Extravaganza!

Next Friday, start binging the new show from Dallas diva and RuPaul’s Drag Race fave Alyssa Edwards. Or more specifically, her out-of-drag alter ego, Justin Dewayne Lee Johnson. As the owner and artistic director of Beyond Belief Dance Company, he trains young competitive dancers to be the best they can be—all while dealing with plenty of drama from their parents and people in his own life, as well.

It’s always fun to see how our drag favorites live their lives off-stage. Thankfully, in Justin’s case, no matter what room he’s in the spotlight is never too far away.

Dancing Queen
Premieres Friday, October 5
