Every so often, we like to get
Last Saturday, we hit up Wild Salsa for brunch for the first time and enjoyed every last bite—and many, many tequila-laced sips in between.

During brunch (which only happens on Saturday at the downtown location for now), you can start with a Bloody Maria, $1 mimosa (with entrée purchase), a sangria, or Michelada.
We adored the Bloody Maria, which isn’t usually our jam, but we were even more turned on by the Top Tier Margarita. Not only does it feature premium spirits (Ambhar reposado tequila and Grand Marnier), it gets its color from port wine—something we’ve never liked on its own. So now when we’re at a fancy restaurant and the sommelier tries to get us to pair a port with our dessert, we’re going to ask to add it to margarita—or see if he or she can get one to-go from Wild Salsa.

As for food during brunch, you can order anything from the regular menu, or from a selection of five brunch-specific dishes:breakfast tacos, chilaquiles, barbacoa hash, huevos rancheros with chicken tinga, and churro French toast.
The presentation on everything wows (even the guacamole and queso look fancy!), but more importantly the flavors took us right back to our summer in Mexico City. And our hangover on the flight home.
