We live for season finales.
From old-school Dynasty cliffhangers to shocking deaths on Ozark, we love the drama.
Well, from August 19 to 28, Uptown Players puts an exclamation point on its multi-show run with Douglas Carter Beane’s The Little Dog Laughed.
The story follows a gay man who pretends to be in a relationship with a woman to avoid negative publicity about his sexuality. Hilarity ensues (and not just from giggling canines) and pathos abounds.
Elizabeth Kensek, Kevin Moore, Shyama Nithiananda and Cason Shofner star in a production directed by Robin Armstrong.
It’s a wonderful way to end a fantastic season (and sit inside air-conditioning that someone else is paying for!) and we hope you’ll join us in sending off Uptown Players for a brief break until they return this December with a whole new lineup of shows.
Start flexing your legs now for what will be several standing ovations in your future.
