France! Italy! Greece!
Not only does that sound like an ideal itinerary for a gay cruise, it’s also a trio of countries that figure into the next production from Uptown Players.
The regional premiere of Tony Award-winning dramatist Terrence McNally’s Fire and Air debuts on Thursday, March 7 in a different-than-usual venue. For 10 shows, the 6th Floor Studio Theatre at the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre at the AT&T Performing Arts Center transports audiences to exotic parts of Europe in the early 20th century.
The intimate performance space promises a whole new theatergoing experience for fans of Uptown Players. The dramatic story of the relationship between a ballet impresario and a highly talented male dancer proves to be quite complex, mixing the pursuit of artistic excellence and the power of sexual desire.
Not sure about you, but this sounds much more like the type of ballet we’d be into.
