It’s time to mark your calendars and prep your most colorful outfits because Dallas Pride is back, and this year, it’s bringing more rainbow splashes to Fair Park on June 1-2, 2024. We’re talking about an expanded two-day festival that’s shaping up to be one of the standout Pride celebrations in the Southwest. So, whether you’re a Pride veteran or looking to join in for the first time, you won’t want to miss this vibrant celebration of “Unity in the Community.”
Sherrell Cross, the executive director of Dallas Pride, is reminding us that this festival isn’t just a party; it’s a culmination of year-round efforts to uplift our diverse LGBTQ+ community. With an even bigger platform this year, Dallas Pride is set to welcome more attendees to share in the love, support, and community spirit that defines this event. And yes, it’s definitely time to celebrate!
This year’s big news? The festival is now a two-day affair by popular demand. That means double the fun, double the music, and double the opportunities to connect with friends, family, and allies in a supportive environment. Saturday’s Dallas Pride Music Festival will be a hit with its mix of musical acts and dance performances, while over 200 vendors offer everything from crafts to snacks.

The festival is designed with everyone in mind: The Family Pride Zone and Teen Pride ensure that attendees of all ages have a space to enjoy the festivities safely. Plus, local animal rescue groups will be there, so you might even find your next pet to join in future Pride parades!
And then there’s Sunday – the day the Dallas Pride Parade takes over Fair Park with its dazzling array of costumes, floats, and community groups marching in support of love and inclusivity. It’s a sight to behold and completely free to enjoy, embodying the spirit of Pride with every step.
With activities for all ages, from the lively music festival on Saturday to the grand parade on Sunday, Dallas Pride is a testament to the strength and unity of the LGBTQ+ community. Tickets for the festival are just $10, with free admission for kids 12 and under.
For those looking to be a part of this year’s festivities, whether as a vendor, sponsor, or parade participant, registration is open now at dallaspride.org. It’s a wonderful opportunity to show your support and engage with the community in a meaningful way.
Dallas Pride isn’t just an event; it’s a reflection of our community’s vibrant spirit and a chance to celebrate our diversity, strengths and unity. So, let’s come together this June for a weekend of joy, celebration and Pride!
