Prison, Presidenta & Pride.

My knees are flat from prayer on these things.

Prison.  It bereaves me when someone of great moral character and respect is found guilty of a crime.  Even the best of us can be led astray by Satan.  On the other hand, when someone of ill repute and a history of wrongdoing is found guilty of crimes, my heart rejoices in our justice system.  Vengeance is mine, sayeth the Lord!  Imagine then my consternation over the recent judicial news out of New York where our former President, lauded by so many evangelicals, was adjudicated as guilty with one count for every year of our Lord and Savior’s earth life plus one to spare.  Will there be prison?  The outrage from professed Christians everywhere is reminiscent of Jesus’ trial and guilty verdict.  It disheartens me to compare any present-day politician with my Heavenly Father.  But if we must, let us remember that after the trial, Jesus was put to death.  So there’s that.

Presidenta.  Big news from the Mexicans.  While it seems that countless of them are crossing the border, there is comforting news from the halls of government.  Mexico has elected its first woman President. (Or is that Presidenta?)  Sister Claudia Sheinbaum is now leading the land across the border.  I’ve heard she’s a liberal.  I’ve also heard she’s Jewish.  Jewish Mexican Liberal….my head may explode.  But I must be reminded that our Lord and Savior was a Jewish Liberal who has been turned into a Christian Fox News viewer by many false prophets.  Therefore, I pray that Sister Sheinbaum is able to remain true to her calling because whatever differences she and I may have, she’s still a woman-in-ministry, and that makes it all worth it.  Praise!

Pride.  Let us pray for strength to endure this coming month.  The Sodomite and Lesbyterian heathens have cornered the market on the entire month for a global celebration of their lifestyles under the title of “PRIDE”.  Already, my home base of Dallas has lit the skyline in rainbow colors.  Sigh.  As a woman of faith, I try to find the good in all situations, so follow my lead and take the high road.  Smile at a sodomite, laugh with a lesbyterian, bide time with a bisexual, transfer funds to a transgender or quip with a queer.  Just don’t complain about it if you see Sister Adele in concert.  She’s a little touchy.
