The Gay & Lesbian Fund for Dallas (GLFD) has a busy week ahead.
And if you’re into dogs and cats, you’re especially in luck.
Tomorrow night, join GLFD for their monthly happy hour event, this time at Hamburger Mary’s Dallas. You’ll be able to learn more about the organization, but also hear from leaders at the SPCA of Texas who will chat about their partnership with GLFD and the upcoming Fur Ball fundraiser on October 4.
If you’d rather interact with actual pets instead of simply hearing about them, come back to the gayborhood on Sunday, August 25 for a special Dog Days of Summer adoption event at Sue Ellen’s.
Both events will help you learn more about GLFD and make your life so much better by bringing new pets into it (what’s one or two more?)—all while mingling with cool people and sipping on tasty beverages to beat the heat.
Make plans to attend one or both.
