Cancer, Conservatives & Cruises.

We have much to ponder this week.

Cancer.  In an apparent answer to prayer, Sister Kate Middleton Louis has revealed that she has completed her chemotherapy treatments for her cancer battle.  As sounds of rejoicing are being raised worldwide on her behalf, I shall remain on my knees in supplication.  To quote the future King-wife, “Although I have finished chemotherapy, my path to healing and full recovery is long and I must continue to take each day as it comes.”  Lord, send us a Word from above, and let that Word be “remission.”  Pray that her official statement is not just a carefully constructed public relations sound byte.  Long live the Queen!

Conservatives.  This has got to be another sign of the End Times.  Conservative Repugnican father/daughter powerhouses, Dick and Liz Cheney, have publicly stated that they will be voting for the Demoncrat candidate for President in November.  We haven’t seen this kind of cross-party voting in decades!  The fact that Brother Cheney views DJT as a threat to our democracy is rather ironic given Dickie’s behavior during his time running, I mean, assisting in running this country.  Offspring Liz is less of a surprise due to her willingness to push back against our 45th President and his mercenaries.  Still, I’d be curious to know if that Lesbyterian sister of hers had any influence on this decision.  Sister Mary has been awfully silent these past few years.  I’m not really sure why, but I highly doubt that her tongue has been stilled in any way.  And Lord knows she didn’t have anything to do with Dick!

Cruises.  Here’s a rather interesting story which caught my eye.  The fine people at Royal Caribbean put together a 9-month long cruise for those wishing to see the world, and it has just come to its final destination.  Many passengers turned this travel opportunity into a social media tool which attracted followers in a viral fashion.  (Viral.  Not really a good word in regard to ships and cruising!)  Now that it’s done, some of the more successful bloggers and Tic Tac-ers are sharing their thoughts publicly.  There was a fine Christian married couple by the names of Joe and Audrey Martucci.  While they enjoyed their 9-month sojourn, Brother Joe’s post-cruise comments gave me pause.  “I wouldn’t do a nine-month straight cruise again.”  Let us pray for clarity here.  Did he mean a cruise that lasted a straight nine months OR is he insinuating that he will be looking for a multi-month sodomite cruise in the near future?  And what of Sister Audrey?  How does she feel?  Let us rejoice that the sodomites and lesbyterians don’t offer any cruises more than 10 days to two weeks.
