A Post-Halloween Weekend Of Treats

Tonight, live for the chocolate.

Then, when you’ve gotten your fill of Kit-Kats, Peanut M&Ms, and Snickers, set your sights on several savory sensations and sublime sips.

What’s even better than one food festival? Two, of course, especially because these take place over two different days.

Saturday, it’s all about the Plano Food + Wine Festival.

The 7th annual event will be the largest yet, with more than 27 restaurants and 25 wineries showcasing their culinary and winemaking skills to hungry and thirsty enthusiasts descending upon Legacy West.

Tickets start at $55 for food-only passes and $80 for the food-and-wine tasting combo.

Then on Sunday at Old City Park, Chefs for Farmers returns for its 14th year. Unlimited sips and bites await, along with live music and a few suprises.

Chefs for Farmers tickets are $145.

If you strategize correctly, these two food fests could be the only meals you need for the entire weekend.

And fantastic ways to enjoy the (finally) fall weather we’ve been privileged to have this week.
