You Betta Delta Work

Cocktails, drag queens and advocacy?

You had us at cocktails.

This Thursday evening, May 15, the Texas Equal Access Fund (TEA) presents First Bloom 2025.

The fundraiser features headliner drag superstar Delta Work in a keynote conversation with the TEA Fund’s executive director, Kamyon Conner. Together, they’ll discuss the overlapping issues surrounding those seeking reproductive justice and LGBTQ rights and how we can all work toward a common goal to advance rights for everyone in these groups.

Individual tickets start at $60 and include cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, plus the chance to mingle with abortion advocates on the front lines of social change.

In addition to the speakers and entertainment, First Bloom features an awards ceremony, with honors including Volunteer of the Year.

Begin your weekend in Deep Ellum while supporting the work of this important nonprofit organization, and you’ve got yourself a Thursday you won’t soon forget.
