Birthday, Brawl & Brian.

Much ado in this world today.

Birthday.  I celebrated a birthday this past week, and so many followers reached out to me on the interwebs.  It was truly a blessing, even if some of these greetings were auto-generated (lazy people).  I’m grateful that the Lord has given me another year of ministry, but even more grateful that so many people cared enough to touch me.  But after all that, I’m gonna need a good scrub.  Praise!

Brawl.  I found myself participating in one of those so-called “No Kings” protests.  So many gathered to let their voice be heard about the current President and his visions of dictatorship.  Fortunately, no brawls broke out, and all was peaceful.  I, however, was there because I don’t wish to abolish all kings.  Ever shall remain the King of Kings and Lord of Lords!  My beef in participating is that we need to be more specific about which kings we’re protesting.  Jesus just don’t like ugly.

Brian.  Brothers and Sisters, let us gather in holy harmonies to mourn the passing of Brother Brian Wilson, who has at last traded his “Good Vibrations” for heavenly revelations.  He may have surfed the waves of California, but he now rides the crystal sea before the throne of glory!  Let us not forget that while Brian once sang about “God Only Knows,” he now knows!  So let us rejoice, for Brother Brian has left his room, stepped out of the sandbox and joined the eternal Beach Choir, where every day is an Endless Summer revival and nobody has to wear sunscreen. Glory!
