Lust, List & Lost.

I feel particularly verbose this week.

Lust.  I have to maintain a watchful eye over anything considered a part of “The Arts.”  One person’s art is another person’s filth.  As you all know, I expose myself to all facets of “art” so that I know what’s going on out there. (I just sometimes have to have a scrub bath afterwards.)  The John F. Kennedy Memorial Center for the Performing Arts, commonly known as the Kennedy Center, is the national cultural center of the United States.  It is one of those performance venues that are so revered, their content often gets a pass due to the many worthwhile things contained therein.  Even the name is a reminder of the legacy of that heathen Catholic, JFK.  Therefore, I was bereaved when it was commandeered by our President for his own egotistical gratification this year.  Now comes word that there is an effort to rename the Center after Sister Melania Trump.  These are end times.  It’s bad enough that that tramp tore up Sister Kennedy’s roses, but now this?  I shudder to think about the filthy performances that will be associated with her slutty, lusty past.  No one needs to see a nude production of Jesus Christ, Superstar!  Let us pray.

List.  Speaking of filth, I’m having trouble keeping up with all things related to the Epstein List.  I haven’t seen such a ruckus over a Jewish list since Brother Spielberg’s movie.  It seems that said list contains the names of all perverts for whom Mr. Epstein obtained underage women for carnal knowledge.  Clearly, Eppy felt some guilt over this list since he checked out of the Hilton Prison Hotel in a true hang up.  Who, then, is on this list?  Who are the perverts deserving of judgment?  Historical video and birthday cards indicate that one name on such a list is our current President, a man who insists that no such list even exists, a fact already debunked in courts.  All I know is that there is only one list that I need to be on, and that is the Lord’s Book of Life at the Pearly Gates.  I’d rather hear #47 insist that he’s not on THAT list.  I can believe that.

Lost.  As a woman of faith who lives to point out the foibles and sins of life, I would be completely aghast if someone were to try to silence my ministry.  I have thus far felt free to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ when it is needed to rout out sin in our midst.  Yet we live in a time where some tender egos seek to silence all satisfiers of satire.  The news that a major television network is ending what is arguably its most profitable late-night show comes as a suspicious surprise.  I don’t personally know Brother Stephen Colbert, but I have been blessed by his intelligent wit and his personal faith which he has shared publicly.  Brother Claudette, I mean Stephen, makes no bones about his feelings regarding the current resident of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.  Said resident also has friends in high places at the parent company of Brother Colbert’s presenting network.  Such blatant censorship should be left to people like me, who will censor only blasphemy and not differences of opinion.  May God Almighty be the final judge of both SC and me as we continue to bring the truth to the masses and witness to the lost.  Amen
