If you like your men tall, sweet and emotionally available, Bowser just might be your dream guy. This 3-year-old terrier mix tips the scales at 60 pounds, but it’s all muscle, snuggles and charm. With a soft brown coat and eyes that say “I’ll listen to you talk about your day,” Bowser is ready to be your loyal, lovable plus-one.
Bowser arrived in Dallas from the Texas Hill Country after the recent floods, part of the SPCA of Texas’ mission to help animals affected by disaster. Despite everything he’s been through, this pup is all heart. He greets life with a grin, a wag and absolutely no bitterness. We could all take notes.
He’s affectionate, gentle and leans in like he’s been your dog forever. Whether it’s nap time, walk time or just sit-on-the-floor-and-chat time, Bowser is happiest when he’s by your side. He’s the kind of dog who makes you feel like the main character, even if you’re just folding laundry.
Bowser is also low-key perfect. He’s friendly, polite and loves the simple stuff: long walks, belly rubs, squeaky toys and undivided attention. He’s past the puppy chaos stage but still playful enough to keep life interesting.
