We’re never ones to poo-poo a trend.
But the Labubu trend is beyond us—at least when it comes to adults. As in, long-time adults with a few miles on the odometer.
Yes, we have two gay friends in their 60s who have begun madly collecting them.
Obsessively, we might add.
But, you know what? It brings them joy. Therefore, Live and Let Labubu is our new motto.
We’ve made sure they’re aware that this Saturday night at the Rose Room, three precious Labubus will be raffled off during Labubu After Dark.
Raffle tickets run $10 apiece or snag six for $50. Three different, highly coveted Labubus will be given away at midnight (must be present to win).
In addition to the chance to adopt a new furry friend, your raffle investment will benefit this September’s Pride in Dallas festivities.
So, not only will you have the opportunity to give an adorable creature a forever home, you’ll be helping support the LGBTQ community in Dallas at the same time.
Heck, you’ll be guaranteed to see some great drag while you’re there, too. (And a couple of dudes with gray hair fighting for more raffle tickets).
