Shakespeare En El Parque

Shakespeare Dallas never ceases to amaze us with their creative interpretations of the bard’s works.

The troupe is known for changing settings, time periods and gender swapping characters to the delight of its outdoor audiences.

To close out its season, they celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month by staging a bilingual version of The Taming of the Shrew.

It’s a delightful production and as the weather starts to cool a bit, the perfect time to enjoy a little al fresco iambic pentameter.

Catch a behind-the-scenes look at the play from a recent Good Morning Texas segment with the stars of the show and we’re confident you’re going to want to enjoy this unique twist in person.
