You may still be stuffed from Thanksgiving, but hopefully you’ve saved room for Queersgiving.
This Sunday at 12:30, Queer Motherland and Dallas Black Queer Collective present a celebration of the LGBTQ+ African and Black communities.
The event features food catered by local African and Black-owned restaurants, a book club session (Fairy Tales for Lost Children), a trivia contest with prizes and an educational workshop focusing on the history of LGBTQ+ Africans.
Tickets are $15 and the event will be held at the Pan-African Collection Bookstore & Resource Center.
Reserve your spot before tickets sell out.
And discover a new holiday you’ll want to celebrate year after year.
