Few parties for someone turning 15 would ever be on our radar.
But, when we’re taking about the 15th Gay Wine Weekend, that’s cause for celebration.
We missed last year’s, but this iconic Sonoma County event each summer remains one of our favorite queer weekends ever.
This year’s event uncorks from July 17-19 and returns to the Sonoma Valley, site of the original.
Over three days, enjoy tastings, parties, pairing dinners, pool time and plenty of opportunities to mingle with LGBTQ+ people from all over the world.
As always, the event culminates with the vino-soaked Twilight T-Dance, hosted this year at the event’s host hotel, Cornerstone Sonoma.
Produced by the fabulous Gary Saperstein and his Out in the Vineyard LGBT event and tour company, Gay Wine Weekend makes a perfect escape from the Dallas summer heat.
Plus, now with Southwest Airlines launching new service this April to Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma CountyAirport in Santa Rosa, California, getting there is easier than ever. And potentially cheaper, too, if you possess a Companion Pass.
So, raise a glass!
Then get your tickets booked so you can raise several more.
