Here Comes Peter Turtle Shell

Not sure about you, but we think the Easter Turtle makes way more sense than a bunny.

After all, there’s the whole shell connection.

And the best Easter event always takes place at Turtle Creek Park.

So, it only seems logical.

Even if there won’t be a happy, shell-clad mascot at Easter in the Park (THIS YEAR), you should definitely plan time to pop by one of the best traditions in Dallas.

The inclusive event welcomes families, pets and gays galore to the lush lawn outside Arlington Hall for a children’s egg hunt, the time-honored Pooch Parade and an always rousing performance by the Dallas Symphony Orchestra Brass Quintet. Grab food and drinks from on-site food trucks and enjoy music throughout the day.

Events are timed perfectly so you can pre-game at brunch, then head to the bars on the strip for some post-park Palomas, pilsners and Pinots.

So, come out of your shell this Sunday Funday and spend it with a few thousand friends in the great outdoors.
